Where this merchandise comes from

A fair question for any new bidder: how does an auction house in Richland end up with graded cards, gold and jewelry every sale? We do not buy inventory. We sell other people's property once the law allows it to be sold.

Unclaimed property

Goods left with storage operators, repair shops and similar holders, sold once the statutory holding period has passed and the owner has not reclaimed them.

Police seizures

Property released for public sale by law-enforcement agencies once their own retention and forfeiture processes are complete.

Government surplus

Equipment and goods retired from service by public bodies and consigned to us for disposal at auction.

Every lot sells as is, where is, with all faults. We photograph and describe each lot to the best of our knowledge, but we are not graders or authenticators and make no warranty of authenticity, condition or any stated grade. Where a lot carries third-party certification, the photographs show it and it speaks for itself. Some items are listed as assumed replicas. Inspect the photographs, and ask us before you bid.

Morgan and Peace dollars, Mercury and Seated Liberty dimes, Indian Head cents, fractional gold and silver bars, mint proof sets and large-format notes.

Rings, bracelets and vintage pieces alongside loose stones: Ethiopian opal, labradorite, turquoise, tourmaline, sapphire and garnet, often in small parcels.

Fossils and mineral specimens, silver and plate, vintage instruments and tools, advertising ephemera and collectables that fit nowhere else.

Bid, with a soft close

A bid in the final two minutes extends that lot by two minutes, and keeps extending until bidding stops. Last-second sniping does not work here.

A 20% buyer's premium applies. Invoices are billed through HiBid to your card on file, or settled by cash, wire, Zelle or PayPal. We ship nationwide at your expense, or you collect in Richland by appointment within five days.

Frequently asked questions

Can you ship to me?
Yes. We ship to all of the USA at the buyer's expense. Packing and shipping are arranged after the sale closes and the invoice is paid. Larger or heavy lots may need a freight quote.
What fees will I pay on top of my bid?
A 20% buyer's premium is added to your winning bid. Washington sales tax may apply. There are no hidden per-lot fees.
How do I pay?
Invoices are issued through HiBid when the auction closes, and cards on file are charged once the sale ends. Accepted methods are Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, cash, wire transfer, Zelle and PayPal. Invoices over $2,000 are settled by cash, Zelle or wire transfer.
How much do bids go up?
Bids follow a standard increment schedule that scales with price, from $1 steps on low lots up to larger steps on higher-value items. The current increment is shown on each lot as you bid on HiBid.
How are items described and graded?
Every lot is photographed individually and described to the best of our knowledge. We are not authenticators or graders. Where a lot carries third-party certification, the photograph shows it and it speaks for itself. Some items are listed as assumed replicas. Everything sells as is, where is, so study the photographs before bidding.
Where does this merchandise come from?
Three sources: unclaimed property released after its statutory holding period, property released for public sale by law-enforcement agencies, and surplus consigned by public bodies. We do not buy inventory for resale.
What is a two-minute soft close?
Lots do not all end at a fixed moment. If a bid arrives within two minutes of a lot's scheduled close, that lot extends by two minutes, and keeps extending until two minutes pass with no new bid. It stops last-second sniping, so there is no advantage in waiting.
How do I register to bid?
Registration is on HiBid and free. It is done per auction and approved by us rather than instantly, so register early if you intend to bid.
Can I see items before I bid?
Preview is available by appointment at our Richland location. Call (509) 870-0486 to arrange a time. Otherwise, the lot photographs are the best guide, since all sales are final.
Where and when do I collect?
Won lots are collected at 3237 Kingsgate Way, Richland, by appointment. Everything must be paid for and picked up within five days of the sale. Email [email protected] with your name or invoice number to schedule a time.
